A membership category that is for the "New to Golf" individual - not yet ready to play the coursee, but interested in a Golf Club Membership, and a pathway to attain a playing golf membership.
The membership involves participating in 12 Group Lessons (1 hour each) to achieve competency in various disciplines required when stepping onto a golf course. The membership will be valid for 6 months - however it doesn't prevent an individual completing sooner.
It includes:-
Monitoring and progress by PGA Professional through basic skills, rules and etiquette of golf
12 Group lessons that includes an on-course session
Use of range, chipping and putting areas
Access to clubhouse with Bar Card offering 10% discount on food and beverages
Social membership
On completion - the ability to sign up to a Girton Golf Club membership

This group is for people that are generally happy with their swing and want to learn how to play a variety of more difficult shots including: uphill/downhill/side slopes/plugged ball in bunker/deep rough/low punch/high lob/fade & draw.
Suggested handicap max 20 - this is a guide but not compulsory

These sessions cover all aspects of the game including driver, iron play, chipping, pitching, bunkers and putting on our driving range and practice areas. All our junior golf lesson classes are provided by our PGA Professional, Paul Trujillo in a relaxed, friendly and safe environment.
